What comes to mind when you think of the uses for boots? I would venture to guess you might have thought of snow or rain maybe cold etc. but then again you must not be four years old. Motty saw me washing the floor on Friday. As a rule they don't come into the room, not because it will get dirty, but they were effectively convinced they can fall when it's wet! Our son was one step ahead of us on this one now he thought a most genius way not to fall weren't boots created for just such a scenario, the wet weather? next thing I know he is marching around the dining room table on the freshly washed floor with his filthy boots! I thought "he is lucky he is cute"
The next activity on the list for Friday afternoon involved him getting as much help as he can to clean the toys in his room up, since he was asked, and doing it alone was not enticing. Our commander in chief comes marching up the stairs with a whistle hanging from his neck looking very stern. He then proceeded to blow his whistle three times to get attention. "attention Miri, attention Miri, we will now be putting away our toys please come to the room and help now!!" another three blasts were sounded and he took her arm and they went to go clean up!
