chazak!

Motty has been eagerly anticipating the completion of sefer Beraishis for a two weeks. He was taught that in shul we say "Chazak, Chazak..." and he could not wait to go to shul to hear it. The problem with that is the leining is shabbos morning a time when he NEVER gets to go to shul. It's too long for him to sit in shul for so many hours, there is not the tehillim group like in the afternoon and he does not belong there. He wanted very much to go to hear the ceremony (that takes about three seconds, he'd most likely miss it) we told him it's too early to get up etc. Motty really wanted to go so he told Chaim S. don't close my door so I can hear when you get up. after five minutes his idea changed "Totty can I please sleep in your bed tonight so I will know when you wake up?" He started off there and was moved later at night but guess who was up the first, and who was almost all dressed when his totty got up? The poor kid was in tears when he was told he can't go regardless.
