We are enjoying our time together just the two of us, that's right just Mom and my almost four year old. What could be better than Us, sun, and lots of spirit. We are ready to rock this summer!
For our perfect summer kickoff on Monday, we headed to the beach. With Motto off to camp, excellent beach weather and lots of smiles and cousins, we settled down. The sand was great but not half as amazing as the ocean to our 'lil water crazy fellow. He was shivering and still begging to go back to play in the water. It was a fabulous hot fun day!
We loved the chelsea water playground at the hudson river park so much. It had sand and water, what more would you like? we have got to go back some time soon!
The next day we welcomed a brand new baby cousin Devora into the world :). Yay Tzvi was coming for the week!
Wednesday we sent Miri off to DC then drove off to a park with rolling green hills. A playground and a large sprinkler section (an oldie but goodie) which includes approximately six to eight sprinklers.
Another bright sunny day dawned and our first home wet day, with crazy sprinkles such as the beach ball and squiggle (from home goods) like we said this little guy likes nothing better than to be wet, Menach and tzvi were living it up!
Our next week started with a crash as we headed to six flags safari and great adventures (seasons pass - woohoo!)
The safari was this really cool off road adventure. The kids (and adults) thought it to be very impressive since the new switch over from private vehicles to buses. We wrapped up the day with a couple of rides and who can ever resist the chair lift across the park?!?!
On monday there were thunderstorms on and off all day the perfect "stay at home day" we ad a play date and just enjoyed our toys for a change.
Tuesday was a bit more of the same...play dough and trucks and lots of time to just play!!
Wednesday we got our first dip in the pool! What a cool treat that was. Of course Bobby ran to pick up LOTS of pool and squirt toys (what fun can the moms have without a water fight?!?)
On July fourth we were glad that Totty stayed home Menach went to play with Devora and Ari so we (mom and dad) can go jet skiing- Laya, your the best!
We closed the day with a yummy BBQ at Chanie's house.
Friday was also a day off we enjoyed roller blading and tricycles at marine park.
Over Shabbos our street was VERY quiet but we didn't care because we made plans to go to the Waxlers' with all our cousins for shalosh seudos. It was wonderful.
Sunday was REALLy hot again, the perfect day to spend at the union city Fireman memorial sprinkler park in NJ. There were lots of great sprinklers and a fabulous in ground kiddie pool (just 2 feet deep) There was also a good playground to hang out while we dried.
The next day we were so busy planning that we didn't get far... We did some grocery shopping and the local playground. We painted, blew. Bubbles and rode tricycles outside. But we've go solid plans for tomorrow I"h!

Purim 5773/2013
Menachem was at our neighbor's house on Purim, it was like a revolving door and, overwhelmingly busy. He sat on his Totty's lap and was very quiet. Chaim asked him "are you sad?" He shook his head, no. "Right, because on purim we need to be happy." To which he replied "No, but on Purim we are allowed to be shy!"

I am just a kid
We were waiting at Dr. B.'s forever it seemed. When we got home, Mini was complaining about the boring day and waiting for so long and having NO PATIENCE...
I stopped her and said "you don't have to describe it to me, I was there too".
"But mommy you are not a kid. I am and kids don't have so much patience like mommies do!"

Special week :)
This week has been a VERY special week for our family b"h.
Miri has got her very own siddur, gold name plate and all! We can't believe that she has grown so much. Motty and Miri made these most adorable siddur cookies for the party with just a little help from mommy.
Menachem had a birthday party in school, that's right you heard me uh read me right, in January we celebrated his 1/2 birthday. He was so excited listening to his morah say the story of Menachem and the dancing and giving out peckelach. He was so happy he even wore his birthday crown to school again the next day.
